Trevor Paglen's Autonomy Cube and Your Death Date

The Autonomy Cube

Autonomy Cube is a sculpture designed to be housed in art museums, galleries, and civic spaces. The sculpture is meant to be both “seen” and “used.” This happens in several ways. 

Several Internet-connected computers housed within the work create an open Wi-Fi hotspot called “Autonomy Cube” wherever it is installed. Anyone can join this network and use it to browse the Internet. 

But Autonomy Cube does not provide a normal internet connection. The sculpture routs all of the Wi-Fi traffic over the Tor network, a global network of thousands of volunteer-run servers, relays, and services designed to help anonymize data. 

In addition, Autonomy Cube is itself a Tor relay, and can be used by others around the world to anonymize their internet use. When Autonomy Cube is installed, both the sculpture, host institution, and users become part of a privacy-oriented, volunteer run internet infrastructure.

Free Weird Creepy Games:
"Normal Porn" for "Normal People"? Not quite..
Considered by some to be the most disturbing, and thus “best,” creepypasta, is about a chain email that advertised a website called normalpornfornormalpeople.com. The misleading name and tagline of the site — “A website dedicated to the eradication of abnormal sexuality” — causes the storyteller to visit the link.
The landing page was populated with a long rant with links throughout, one link led to a download of a file called “peanut.avi.” The video shows a nothing other than a women making a peanut butter sandwich, and a man setting the sandwich down for a dog, who would eat it. This happened multiple times, but nothing out of the ordinary took place other than that.
The storyteller goes on an image board after to discuss his findings, but discovers a thread someone else already made about the weird videos, each with fairly innocuous names. “Lickedclean.avi,” for example, shows a repairman working on a washing machine, then when the repairman leaves, the owner of the machine licks the top of it for seven minutes.

 HELLO AGAIN!

Another movie, titled “dianna.avi,” features nothing more than a woman talking about then subsequently playing her violin. However, if you look at the reflection of a mirror in the room, you can see a man in a chicken mask masturbating to the women playing the violin.
Eventually, the videos get a little creepier. One titled “stumps.avi” involves a man with no legs dancing on a Dance Dance Revolution dance mat until he collapses out of exhaustion; however, he begins dancing again when a man off-camera screams at him to do so. Many off-putting videos have been discovered. Finally, the story ends with a video titled “useless.avi,” in which a woman from a previous video is tied down to a bed. A man in a black mask opens the door and lets an adult chimpanzee, which has been completely shaved and painted red, into the room. 
When the chimp enters the room, the masked man closes the door behind it. The chimpanzee sniffs the air for a moment (it may have been blind), and notices the woman tied to the mattress. It goes into a frenzy, and begins to attack and maul her. The assault goes on for a grueling seven minutes, until the woman finally dies. The chimp then starts eating flesh from her corpse for another four minutes as the video ends...

There's also a site called IRL Cannibals which I'm not going to look for, apparently people meet there that are actual Cannibals or want to eaten. I don't want anything to do with it because I know that sites like this exist and more than one person has actually followed through with it in REAL life, literally, not some fetish or joke. I've written about it on

and there's a movie called Grim Love about a semi-famous case in Germany, it's very creepy.

A deep web story:
14 Years ago as a freshman at a major Texan university, the university network was somewhat more fast and loose in terms of being able to access other peoples computers…as you might imagine. Anyway at one point I viewed a video of a kid with some kind of condition being torn apart by wild donkeys while middle eastern looking men masturbated. I saw it only briefly and left the room. Beyond creepy.
Fast forward 4 years, I’ve flunked out of college and am enlisted in the Navy. I mention the incident to a guy in my workcenter. I also stated that I was hammered at the time and now wonder if I had a bad dream or some shit.
Coworker says “I’ve heard of this” and digs this column up. So, apparently, it really is out there somewhere. I haven’t gone out looking for it, and I don’t hear/read people referring to it like it is notorious(and believe me, I think it would be), but man, in 2000 it had already been digitized at some point and put out there.
